GENERAL SUMMARY:

The position will have responsibility and technical ownership of multiple enterprise applications suites, ex: CRM, ERP etc.
This resource will act as a Technical Leader within the group with extensive knowledge of three tier application architecture and design.
The person should also have in-depth knowledge of configuring and tuning web and application server components.
Responsible for support, monitoring and performance management of all database and application tier components, evaluating future database management strategies, providing guidance in acquiring requisite system software and hardware as well as developing procedures for database and applications change control.
Create and implement disaster recovery procedures and solutions.
Administer and implement strict security integrity controls.
Evaluate/Approve database and application design as well as Patch management and analysis.



PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs applications environment builds and refreshes Consults with senior management to develop and promote database strategies and programs to meet the company's future needs.
Stays current on technical changes and new product releases.
Analyzes and works on non-standard problems or issues that span multiple technologies, ex: browser to spindle and proposes long-term solutions and fixes.
Responsible for planning and upgrading of major and complex application and database upgrades.Extensive knowledge of configuring and tuning databases ,applications and web tiers for an enterprise applications suite.
Responsible for overall database and applications health including storage, file systems and performance and mentors other staff.Extensive experience in installing, patching and maintaining of any Enterprise Applications suite (CRM, ERP, etc) in a multi-tier environment.



SKILLS:

Knowledge of Unix, Windows NT/2000/98, Internet Security, Oracle ERP.
Knowledge with appropriate networks, products and protocols.
Ability to work effectively with senior management.
Negotiation skills.
Understanding of business environment.
Knowledge of job associated database/software/documentation
